(deep breath.....)
So much has happened since my last entry, you all thought I forgot about you, didn't you? Nahh...just been livin it up and trying to do the right thang. I'll try to break it down to you in chronological order, can't be held responsible if it comes out wrong.
Christmas came and went, I worked it, eve and day. Not too bad.
Flew to Newark Dec 27th for a visit with the family, the 'rents didn't know I was coming, pretty big suprise for them.
Went to the Packers/Jets game at The Meadowlands. My first NFL game, awesome box seats and ride to and from the game in a 33ft stretch Cadillac Escalade limo, we're talkin SWEEEEEET!!!!!
Went to the Poconos with the fam for New Years. Real nice relaxin time, watched The Hokies beat Air Force in the Diamond Walnuts SF Bowl (Ithink they made that one up).
Flew back into Maui Jan 3rd and went right back to work that night, we're talkin BEAT!!!
Volunteered at the 2003 Mercedes Championship and got to see Clint Eastwood and Dennis Hopper. Met and took a picture with Fluff and David Arquette. Saw some great golf and beautiful views of the whales from Kapalua.
Watched swell after swell roll in and ruin all the diving from the shore. Feeling dry-rotted!!!!!
Jan and Judy came in on the 24th.
Finally got to dive a pretty surgy Airport Beach, their first dives out of certification. Great time.
Completed my 100th open water dive at Molokini Crater, appropriately. Went with Jan and Judy on Mike Severns charter and Mike's wife Pauline was our guide, very awesome time.
Took Vinnie as our tour guide and took the road to Hana, stopping at all the good sites along the way, Blue Pool, Waianapanapa, Red Sand Beach, Hana Bay, Koki Beach, Hamoa Beach, Oheo Gulch. We did the Waimoku Falls trail up thru the bamboo forests and to the huge Waimoku Falls, great picture opportunities there. Back down the 3 mile trail in 37 minutes, we were haulin it!!
Jan and Judy got married out here at Secret Cove Friday the 31st. I did the photography, and not to brag, but it turned out fantastic for amature equipment and skills. Went to Humuhumunukunukuapua'a's at the Grand Wailea for dinner, Jan and Judy's treat. That had to be the nicest meal I have ever had, not to mention the most expensive.
Feb 1st at 4am here, I watched the space shuttle fall from the sky. God rest their souls.
The 'rents anniversary is today and Phil saw his shadow, 6 more weeks.
...and thats brings us to the present. Whew!! Don't think I forgot much, hope not...
